Bigfin Reef Squid

Description:

A traditional zoological spot illustration of a Bigfin Reef Squid (Sepioteuthis lessoniana), based on photographs taken of individuals at the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s now retired Tentacles exhibit. The squid’s namesake large fins are rippling with movement as the squid propels itself mantle-first through the water.
