This digitally illustrated composition is one of 8 panels I designed and illustrated for the City of Novato’s Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with the Novato Rotary Club. All 8 signs were installed around Scottsdale Pond, near Novato’s downtown.

This sign depicts three native non-avian species that can commonly be found in Marin County, Ca and more specifically at Scottsdale Pond in Novato: a Western Fence Lizard (Sceloporus occidentalis), a Yellow-faced Bumble Bee (Bombus vosnesenskii), and Scarlet Pimpernel (Lysimachia arvensis).
